Yanina - a Latina Bo$$ B@be B!tch!

I photographed this at an interesting time politically in the United States. And for me it felt important to honor my latin roots as a Latina American photographer. I got to capture my friend Yanina Caminas in nature on the Eno River in Durham, North Carolina.

It felt like a peaceful experience photographing her in nature. And I also got to honor her own experience as a Latina.
