This photo was taken of my dear energy worker friend that helped me fully heal my psychosis through intuitive energy and body work and through her work I was able to fully get off medication, one of the biggest gifts of my life.
As I photographed her and she was so vulnerable with me with her body, she was pouring love into her relationship to her body and moving the energy in her body intuitively on her bed.
It’s a reminder to nurture the womb of yourself, your mother, your grandmother and any generation before and after you.
In indigenous traditions, the teachings are that when you heal yourself, you heal your ancestors and descendants, often phrased as, "It ran in your family until it ran into you".
This is a reminder that we can love and adore our relationship to our bodies and the amazing person that we are right now through adoration of the person that we are right now.
